Matt Askland has been in the mortgage business since March of 2000, initially originating loans in Nashville, TN. In Nashville, he worked in a predominantly refinance sales environment. After succeeding in this atmosphere, he was looking for a stronger industry knowledge base and a new company philosophy that would benefit long-term in this competitive, ever-changing industry. This search led Matt to Peoples Home Equity (PHE). PHE had at that time and still has a very unique philosophy that was built on building quality relationships within the industry, and largely focus on the purchase market.
